I don’t even know how this happened I was trimming my kittens nails (6 months) and I think I accidentally clipped her paw pad? I am hysterical writing this please don’t think I’m an idiot I was a vet tech for 1.5 years but she just got really angry as she normally does when clipping her nails and she let out a little meow. I then looked and she was bleeding from her paw not her claw and I got a damp paper towel and tried to apply pressure but she kept squirming away from me. The bleeding has stopped and it’s been 5-10 mins later but I’m scared she’s hurt. I looked at her paw and she’s a black cat with black paw pads and I see a little chunk out. I feel so bad I don’t know if she’s in pain but she keeps meowing at me, she’s eating treats, and trying to play with me. The only unusual thing was she just sat down in the bathtub until I caught her attention. Advice please? I just don’t want her to be hurt and there’s no emergency vets in my area
