Before I get into it, this all happened very fast so we really had no time to prepare. A family friend got into an accident and passed away and we immediately had to take their dog. We have our own dogs and while one is getting along fine our other dog isn't.
For background our other dog is very anxious and not good with other dogs or strangers. there is really nowhere for our late friend's dog to go until things get settled but for the meantime we have to find a way to get our dog to at least be civil.
we currently have to watch him constantly because he would attack if we don't. he is definitely not an outdoor dog and neither is our late friend's dog.
we really don't know what to do, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make this at the very least a safe environment for both dogs.
