I got my kitten at 8weeks. I have had my now nearly10week kitten for 2weeks now. We keep her downstairs in a temporary room with all her things to sleep at night. I did this so she could get comfortable and adjustm. The rest of the day all the doors are open and she's free to roam the house and I think she knows it quite well now. She usually stays with me willingly the whole day whilst I work from home and I give her plently of playtime etc. Then at bedtime I put her in her room for the night with the door shut.
We don't want her restricted in the room forever. My husband would ideally like to move her bed upstairs in the hallway outside my bedroom door where its quiet. When's the best time to do this?
