I have 5 cats who I love to death and would do anything for them. Earlier this year, my husband and I had to move out the country as his visa was expiring. The original plan was just to stay in Singapore for only a while and go back every month to see our cats. We arranged for our neighbors to take care of them while we're away. Then the covid pandemic happened.
This is the first time we're separated from the cats and for a long time. They're the kind of cats that are very attached to us, even following us everywhere we go in the house. Slept around us on the bed every night (there's barely any space left but we all squeezed onto the bed snugly).
Our neighbour sends us pictures and videos every few months but that only serves a temporary relief for we miss them so badly. no idea when the borders are going to open again. I'm worried our cats won't remember us when we get back.
