Hey reddit, so my cat has this weird habit of injuring herself, specifically her eye. I'm not sure how she does it but every trip to the vet (almost every month or so now) that I take her my vet tells me she has a damaged eye, her eye is puffy and I have to give her eye drops.
Now I have went to the vet many times but they cannot decipher as to why she might be attacking/clawing her own eye. Im not sure why she keeps getting her eye scratched.
Has anyone else had this experience with their cat having a scratched eye every other month. What causes her to scratch it? How could I help my kitty not get hurt so often. Please if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
