My sister is in SoCal near Los Angeles and she's been trying to persistently give away 2 kittens she found in our backyard.
In addition, she's contacted shelters and local organizations, but they have rejected taking in the kittens.
Today, she showed up to one of the shelters in person with the cat and was told to "put the kittens back where you got them"
Are there any other remaining options? Seems very helpless for the kittens right now.
For the record, we already have 4 cats and simply cannot take new kittens in.
