Greetings.
Almost a week ago, I adopted a cat at my local shelter. Her name is Luna (Moon in Spanish) and she's very sweet, from day one she has been very comfortable with me and love pets.
I have a golden retriever which is 8 months old, although very young she is still huge and she's very active, loves to play with other animals. I told this to my shelter because I know it was relevant, I figured the shelter would give me a cat that was comfortable with dogs, but my cat doesn't like her. She's been on my bedroom from day 1 and when I try to get her out she jumps out of me and hide.
When I do have the opportunity to get her out so that she can get to know the entire house and my dog, she just hide under the sofa all the time.
Any tips? I don't want her to be uncomfortable in what should be her own house.
