help. cat spraying and yowling

Let’s call my cat Winnie. She is about two years old and I believe she is a Russian white.

I found her at my parent’s house about 4 months ago. Winnie is very friendly with humans, but it was obviously that she was very malnourished. She was very very skinny so I took her back to my apartment (about 20 minutes away). I took her to the vet to get tested/checked for any illnesses. They said she was all clear. I also got her vaccines up to date.

Fast forward to present day. She has put on some weight and has an appointment to get spayed on October 8th. She still seems to be in good health…besides one thing.

She sprays and yowls constantly. During the day, during the night, if I’m with her, and when I leave. She seems so stressed and I don’t know what to do. I play with her constantly, she always has a filled water bowl, and eats regularly scheduled meals. I empty her litter box twice a day. I am gone for approximately 30 hours a week (mainly for college) but besides that I am in my room with her.

I have tried Feliway spray and Thunder Wunders calming chews, but they have only helped a little.

My roommates have two other cats. The one, Benny (2 year old male) she can’t stand. The other, Chili (1 year old male) she used to not like but now they seem neutral with each other. I always keep Benny and Winnie separate, but sometimes I bring Chili and Winnie together.

About once a day, I’ll put Benny in my room and let Winnie roam the kitchen/living room for about half an hour. Chili and Winnie will interact occasionally.

I don’t know if it’s foo crowded for her and she wants more space. My current apartment is about medium sized and five people live here. The only other pets are Benny and Chili.

I will be moving back to my parent’s next week. The house is way bigger and my room will be triple the size. There will be four people total living there and a very chill dog who will be kept on a separate floor from Winnie.

I’m scared she will still spray and yowl even after we move to a bigger space and after she gets spayed.

Any tips on how to help Winnie, and what may be the cause of her stress?

tl;dr My cat is spraying and yowling constantly without an obvious cause. It probably isn’t a medical issue either. How do I help her?
