Hey there, I'm planning on visiting family in California this summer and I want to try to bring my dog. It isn't a must, but I want to try! I live in Tucson and we are going to Laguna Beach. When you travel alone, during the summer...how do you keep your dog safe and comfy? If I need to go to the bathroom I plan on taking him with me in a tote bag at rest stops (he's a 8lbs Jack-Chi). He does okay in the car, I have one of those elevated dog bed things. Any advice?
