Hey guys! I am planning on soon getting a kitten to raise in these couple of months before I go to college in August. I would get one in August but I’d like to get my dog used to a cat so I can leave the cat at my house with my parents when I come home for the summer and for breaks. My dog is a rescue so he’s EXTREMELY defensive of my family and I. Are there any strategies I can use to help introduce a kitten to him without stressing either of the pets? Any and all advice is appreciated!
Edit: I forgot to mention he’s a pretty big dog (70lbs) and am worried he’ll be intimidating to the kitten. He’s extremely sweet and friendly to us however.
