I have two cats on a fixed diet of a little under 1/4 cup dry food 3 times a day. Problem is that they anticipate the feeding times and start incessantly meowing usually about an hour early each time.
I’ve been reading that the problem could be the food, that it’s not making them feel full. From what I’m finding, I should find food with higher protein and probably add some wet food to the schedule.
Does anyone have a suggestion on good cat foods (that hopefully won’t break the bank)?
FYI, one of the cats is a few pounds overweight (hence the current diet)
