So I just adopted a cat from a shelter and she is a year old. She has been with a foster for most of her life and they gave her the name Kou pronounced like go. I am perfectly fine with calling her by this name if it would be easier for her, however if possible I would love to give her a name of my choosing. Also would it be easier if I do change her name if I changed it to something that sounded similar such as cocoa or Neeko? Also here is a picture of her because she's the best.
