So my female cat has a somewhat funny but sometimes unfortunate habit. She pees standing up and always chooses to pee just on the edge of the litter box. Sometimes this will result on the pre getting on the floor on front of the box.
I've tried mats in front of the boxes but the cats don't like stepping on them and always had to jump, so I put them away again. My biggest concern is that the pee ruins the floors (we live in a rental) and because the floors aren't even it goes under one piece of our furniture which unfortunately we can't move.
Do any of you have any idea what else we could try to stop the pee from going on the floor? She really doesn't do it on purpose and it doesn't happen too often but I would still like to find a good solution to prevent damage from her odd habit. Thank you all!
