Very recently (approx 2 weeks ago), my cat has stopped eating the broken parts of normal cat food (like when a piece gets split in two). He would eat all the normal ones and leave those, begging for food if they are the only ones left. This has never happened before, he would always leave the plate clean. He recently turned 10 and I suspect it has something to do with age but it's really annoying because its a waste of food.
