Our cat had an upset stomach last night, we’re assuming because the night before last she raided the cat treats (now somewhere she definitely can’t reach) and ate pretty much a full bag. We wake up this morning and she’s had some diarrhoea, mostly in the litter box but some just outside, that’s easy enough to clean, but I still noticed a slight smell.
I checked her over and couldn’t see anything until she started cleaning herself and I could see the very underside of her rear paws and there’s a small amount of it dried on both of them, there was also a tiny amount on her tail tip.
I took a warm damp cloth and got it all off her tail, but she gave a warning nip when I went to clean her paws. We have an old litter tray (clean) that we can use as a bath, but how do we keep her calm while we bath her to clean her rear paws? Also, any recommended shampoos etc for her?
