Concerned: My Kitten (16 weeks) has been sleeping on my bed with me all day while I've been home very sick sleeping since lunch time.

Hey everyone,

Our 16 week old Kitten, Asher, has been the sweetest and stayed with me all day after getting home from the emergency dental hospital around lunch time (Australia). He's been sleeping on the edge of the bed, but doesn't leave for anything other than using the loo and my partner gave him a bit of a chicken neck to chew on for being so good. (they're a treat as we've run out of his raw free range chicken mince we normally use as a treat).
It's now 11pm and he's still sleeping on the edge of the bed even though I'm awake and sitting here playing my xbox while my partner is downstairs on the PC. Normally he'll divide his time by spending hours with my partner as we take it in turns to play with him daily to keep him happy and healthy.

Now it's not just the fact that he's sleepy, but he was awake earlier while we were eating dinner and he didn't even look interested in my food. He kinda looked a bit sad at me, but normally wants to investigate. I smooched and cuddled him and he happily purred but when back to sleep soon after. This doesn't seem normal for a kitten, he's usually bouncing around the house after a big sleep.

The dental issues have carved a hole in my pocket so I'm terrified if he's unwell. I can't afford a vet right at this second, but will figure out a way to afford it if I have to take him in for a check up.

I should also mention we adopted him from a rescue, he's had full vet work, desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. He has full access to Royal Canin kitten dry biscuits and water. We don't give him human food at all. So yeah, we're not sure and I'm just a bit concerned now. It was the sweetest up until about two hours ago I started getting worried that he's NOT being naughty or running around like a lunatic attacking and stalking all his toys.
