We have a tiny Maltese Terrier x. She weighs just under 4kg. We took her back to the vet for her annual check up and the vet has told us she has plaque building up on her teeth again and may need to go under anesthetic for them to do that. I’m worried about doing that to her again as she had 14 teeth extracted last year and had to put her under for that also.
Vet said if we didn’t want to do that we could trying brushing her teeth twice daily to try and get rid of the build up but that it might mean she might still need it done down the track. Obviously we would prefer not to have to put her under again but brushing your dogs teeth twice daily??!
