Help Rehoming dog

Please remove if this is against the rules. I'm not trying to sell an animal, I'm trying to find a good home for a dog that was abandoned with me. Long story short, our neighbors were moving and asked if we would keep their dog while they moved and maybe a week or so after, while they adjusted. No big deal, we have three dogs and volunteer/foster often, plus she is a really sweet pibble that just wants to snuggle, so I said yes. I quickly found out that she hadn't been to the vet since they had found her on the side of the road about two years prior. I know they are having a hard time financially, due to some family issues, so I ask if we can take her and get her shots, fixed and chipped (without charge to them). They seemed really appreciative and said yes. We took her two days later, got everything done. A few weeks go by and they haven't came to get her, so we start calling. They won't contact us back and we were told by officials that she is now ours. The problem is, we can't afford to keep her....it was all we had just to get her taken care of, etc. We waited a while longer hoping they would come back for her, but now have given up :( . We have contacted all the pitbull rescues near us, talked to the shelter where wee volunteer, etc. but no one has room for her. We've tried a few sites, but haven't found anyone trustworthy to take her. Does anyone have any ideas on how to find her a good home, quickly??
We live in the Dallas area.
