I am so beyond frustrated and exhausted. To start, we have a massive flea problem because we have five animals, 3 dog and 2 cats, we have tons of fleas. Usually my parents buy Frontline, but we recently got a new cat and she had an allergic reaction to it, which caused my mom to make an excuse and say “well if I buy flea medicine for the other 4, the fleas will just jump on her”. The animals have had fleas for months, and it’s just getting progressively worst. The dogs just itch themselves all day, our oldest one’s skin is raw and bloody. He also has had what I suspect is a tumor for four years, and ear mites. The fleas hide in my fuzzy blanket and bite me. I tried to ignore it the first two months and I just can’t anymore. Im 17, I can’t even move out. I’m trapped here. Our dryer is broken, I can’t even wash this disgusting blanket. I approached my mom ten minutes ago about flea medicine, I was very calm. She flipped out on me and screamed “you always harp on me when your father’s not home”. Sorry if this is weirdly worded, I got two hours of sleep last night because I could feel fleas crawling on me all night. To add, I love all my animals so much, I’m worried that they’re more miserable than me with this flea issue. I don’t get paid a lot, I have a job but I barely make any money and I have to save the majority of it for college or I’m screwed come next year. So, if anyone has any suggestions on how I can get rid of this problem with $70-$100 please help.
