Less than two weeks ago, I adopted a 6 month old tabby/maine coon mix. When I first got him, he was so sweet and cuddly. It hasn’t even been two weeks and now he is constantly biting my arms, sometimes he jumps on my head when I’m laying down and bites on my ears, cheeks, nose, or pulls on my hair. I’ve tried keeping toys nearby so he can use those instead of me, but he always comes back to biting my arms. It’s to the point that he is drawing blood. He doesn’t do this to my four other roommates, it’s just me. He hasn’t been outside of my room except for a few instances because we have 2 other cats, 2 dogs and a rabbit and I’m wanting him to adjust slowly. Also, I don’t think he’s angry because he doesn’t get puffy or hiss or even really get his claws out at all.
What can I do to get him to stop? I think he’s just playing but it’s really painful.
