My boyfriend and I just got an apartment together and he has a dog. I adore the pup, but I severely underestimated how quickly dog hair piles up (we have only lived here for 4 days and it's all over the entire house). Even the bedroom (which is off limits to the dog) is already covered in white hair that keeps getting tracked into the room on our feet, clothes, and belongings. The hardwood floors are dark and nearly everything I own is black so it looks terrible. Even my car is covered in it and his dog has never been in my car.
My boyfriend doesn't mind everything being covered in dog hair, so there is no way he is going to do anything about it. He is not a very clean person and runs a little on the lazy side, so I know that I will have to take matters into my own hands.
Honestly I can't stand the hair and it is causing me more stress than it should. Does anyone have any suggestions on tools needed to keep the floors, furniture, and my clothing clean and hairless?
