For the past 2 days, he has been meowing from 4am-8am, I gave him food, he ate, then kept meowing. I checked everything, could not find a reason. Today he was sitting in my bed, with his eyes closed and purring for an hour or so. Also as I’m writing this he’s asking for me to pet him. I mean, I probably just described a normal cat, but he’s acting very weird! We’ve been together for 16yrs, and he’s not a lovely cat that asks to be pet, and he never purrs. He has chronic kidney disease, can it cause pain? Idk, maybe I’m overreacting and he’s just doing cat things, my dad’s cats just passed away and I’m very impressed And now he’s meowing again
