My youngest I think has depression. There are some days where he gets down and just kinda seems down and not energized. He will still eat and use the restroom but he does however just come up to me and sit next to me with his head down. This will start randomly and can last anywhere from a day to a week. And then he is usually back to himself. A bit of neccessary backstory, around march of 2018 he was almost hit by a car. We are not exactly sure what happened. But he was laying in the middle of the road all tensed up and barking wildly. I picked up and he loosened and sat up straight. We took him to the vet and he found nothing wrong except his left eye was slightly swollen. He did say however it was possible he had a seizure. So around may of 2018 he got into his funk like he is now and this had been like the 3rd or 4th time around may he's dipped down. So I decided to take him to the vet again. And they still couldn't find anything wrong. So I've basically decided the poor thing has seizures when no one sees him having it or he is just traumatized. Either way he only gets this way about once every couple of months. I would just like to know how I could best support him during those times! Thank you.
tl;dr: dog gets sad every couple of months. Involved in an accident in March 2018. He was okayed by vet. Curious how to best support him during these times.
