I dropped my dog off at the groomers for a haircut that was scheduled about 5 days ahead for 9am. I asked them to shave him down and leave his face a bit fluffier, nothing too fancy. He’s an 8.5 pound maltipoo, and he’s good with being groomed. Is it normal for a groomer to take 4 hours to complete a request like this? I don’t know how this works as this is my first dog and I don’t have any experience with groomers. I don’t want to get upset just yet, I can understand it’s a difficult job and requires time. I just don’t know if I’m possibly being taken advantage of here.
P.S I bathed him the day prior to bringing him in, and I comb his coat 2-3 times a week. Don’t know if that’s important but I just thought I’d put that in.
