I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but i wanted to see what you guys had to say. So my boyfriend like slapped my thigh playfully, my dog perked up. We both look notice and he slapped my leg again. I grew curious and started saying my dogs name and saying "ow!" My dog proceeded to lay her body across my neck and started glaring at my boyfriend. Was this a protective gesture? Me and my boyfriend thought shed try blocking his hand but she surprised us by laying across my neck. She eventually went down and tried to give him kisses (mashing her cheek against his mouth lmao). Just my curiosity I guess. My boyfriend is someone my dog trusts. she sometimes lays with him and likes to play so I wonder if she was just confused.
