Moving Missy to the big city.

Not sure where to ask this question, so I decided to ask here because, no stupid questions.

So, I've lived in the country most of my life. When I say country, my nearest neighbors are cows! I've had my dog, Missy for about eight years. I've never trained her because she lives in the country too. No leash training, no "no barking" training, no chasing people, all that good stuff....this is a huge problem now because we are moving to, Louisville, Kentucky and thats way different from small town Mississippi.

She runs outside, she might go play with a cow or some shit...she handles her business when she wants, courtesy of a dog door...I mean shes a free pup. When I consider taking her with us to a bigger city, I don't think her life would be as great. She'd have to be on a leash schedule, (she's already not feeling that), and really kinda remain in the house most of the day. My neighbors with the cows love her and I'm really considering giving Missy to her them so I won't have to worry about her adjusting to city life or someone doing bad things to my baby.

On the other hand, is she trainable? Shes an eight year old miniature pinscher. I don't know how she'll adjust and I don't wanna give her to just anyone after I move because she couldn't handle the move. I want my baby with me. I had her before I had ANYTHING. We've been through it all. On the other hand, I know the family next door will take awesome care of her, and she'll be living her best life with the freedom she's used to. How would you go about training her for the move, or is it best for her to stay where I know she's happy?
