my cat has been limping lately so I took him to the vet. he was burning with a fever, so he stayed in the hospital for 2 days. they made some exams and couldn't find anything. the point is: they didn't exactly focus in the front paw, when my cat came back he wasn't feverish anymore, but still limping... I took him to the vet again, and we both don't know what to do... so he recommended some pain killers, which seems to have some effects. I touched everything part of the from the paw, so did the vet of course, but my cat doesn't show any signs of pain or discomfort at all! but he still VERY sad and doesn't eat, doesn't play anymore, because of limping paw.... however he drinks water regularly. I don't know what do to... I have never seen anything like this. He is an indoor cat, without ANY outdoor access, he used to be very happy and very playful. And also he is not old, he is just 4. I didn't take any x-ray exam cause they DID NOT ask for... should I go for it? the vet said that it doesn't look like a fracture...
please help me :( any advice would be greatly appreciated
