We just moved into our new house last weekend, i have 2 cats and one dog, I don't even think our dog even realizes it's a different house, our older cat doesn't even care, she's moved with us quite a few times. our younger cat (a little over a year old), has moved with us once before when she was a kitten and was pretty good during that move, but after we moved her into the new house, she has mainly been hiding in the bedroom upstairs, and has gotten into the boxspring and has been hiding in there for the majority of the day, barely eating. we closed off the bedroom yesterday to get her used to the rest of the house, she got a little better and we saw her more often, but she would still manage to disappear for long periods of time. We discovered that she had been hiding in the litter box just sitting in there for those long periods of time and now she smells like straight litter. She didn't used to be this skiddish or hide this much before, Anyone have any tips on helping her get acclimated to her new home?
