My service dog Katjaa and I took a trip to PetSmart recently to look at new leashes cause hers was getting old. She has never acted up ever in public but as soon as we stepped into the store she flipped out and tried to drag me to the exit. What did she sense that we can’t? PetSmart is already not the greatest place for animals ever (getting animals from mills, making horrible care guides full of false “facts”, and selling products that aren’t fit for any of the animals listed on the package) but I never thought it would scare my dog.
