I have been thinking of getting a cat and I have been doing a ton of research and I had tons and tons of pets earlier in my life so I'm well aware of what it takes. I have a few questions about some cats and behaviors.
Should cats be exposed to many people as a kitten so they are not shy and run away to strangers who come into the house. I would love to have a cat that jumps on peoples/parents/friends laps or at least rub against them and be comfortable around. Are there certain breeds that do this more likely?
Cats and travelling (and pets in general) is a tricky situation I have seen. And again do you expose the kitten to travelling at a younger age? Should I wait until I am settled down at one place for a kitten? I have seen some cats that hang out in cars, but going to a new place may make them scared or nervous? Again, are there certain breeds that fit that scheme.
I am aware that every pet will be different and not be that perfect travel cat or perfect friendly cat but in order for it to happen does it involve a lot of training?
One of my favorite cat breeds is the Blue British Short hair
Any other advice or tips or anything will be helpful,
Thank You
