I have a 3 year old cat who has always taken a liking to pooping in the bathtub. He’s done this at every house we’ve lived in, as well as any other house he’s stayed in. It’s usually the bathtub but sometimes the sink. It’s always a smooth surface (thankfully) and usually porcelain. He has a huge litter box that’s easy to get to. It’s currently located in a closet but the door of the closet is removed.
Any ideas? He does this probably 3-4 times a month. I try to stop him by closing the door or putting things to deter him but he eventually finds a way.
