Hello everyone!
My wife and I don't have any kids yet, so we spoil the crap out of our dog. he's a 3 year old Shih Tzu Bichon and he's awesome! The most caring dog ever, (and a scardy cat). His name is Tykus. (SC2)

BUT he has this crazy annoying thing he does. We have a fenced in back yard, and all winter, and all summer, he goes to the door, we let him out, he comes up the deck stairs, and into the house. Now for some reason only when it gets chilly out in the Spring and Fall, he won't come up the stairs. He'll go up 90% of the way, then cry or go back down. It's like he's scared almost of going up the last couple stairs. We have to go down and get him, which would be fine, but if it's 2am and he has to go outside my wife has no interest going outside to get him if I'm gone ha. If we leave him out there he'll just bark one time every 10 seconds or so until we come give him attention. When it's the middle of the day one time I left him out there to bark for an hour! Or if it's cold when he does it, I can't believe he just wants to play or something when it's super cold and I know for a fact he wants to come inside. Those are the times I just don't understand why he doesn't just come up the stairs and into the warm house!
Now that it's warmer out, he doesn't do it at all. He comes up the stairs to the sliding door window. It's the weirdest thing and if anyone can shed any light on what might be causing it, that would be great!
