I honestly don't get why so many people claim to love their horses then deprive them of the essential stimuli they need. Horses are heard animals you can't just give them a couple acers a bunch of treats and expect them to be living their best life. Horses can and will become depressed without other horses unless you spend all your time with them which very few people can afford. Than when they become to much money to maintain and they almost inveitably don't get almost any interaction with their owner they're given up. I work with horses and one horse in particular spent many years by himself and when my boss bought him he didn't really like other horses and we're kinda afraid of them just recently he started not consently walking with his ears flattened which is usually a sign of aggression or displease. If you're thinking of getting a horse please get two or board them where there are other horses to interact with they'll thank you
