Our puppy ate onion leaves. What do I do?

Our two-month old Japanese spitz puppy has ingested onion leaves while we were all out of the house. I found the leaves scattered on the floor when I got home. I don't know how much he ate or if he even ate at all, but a family member left a roll of onion leaves on the coffee table and our puppy somehow managed to get it.

I'm so scared because onions are toxic for dogs and he's not eating his lunch. I hope he's okay though. I will observe him for symptoms but I'm looking for precautionary measures. I hope someone can help me. Thank you :)

(Extra Info: We live in the Philippines so the vet is really far from our home and expensive so I will take him to the vet when absolutely necesary. My family dismisses it as something I shouldn't be worried about because they don't believe that onions are toxic for dogs so I can't really rely on them to support me on this.)
