I love my bunny but the things she does drives me up the wall. She doesn’t respect the rules of the house no matter how you train her. There’s areas she is not allowed in such as the bathroom, the kitchen and the bedroom. Oh and my computer especially after recent events. The more you tell her no, the more she does it anyway. Like a rebellious teenager.
Rabbit proofing is a lot of work and Lorelei just chewed a mouse cord that seemed like it was out of reach. Yes I was really mad at her. So I have to rabbit proof my computer area even more. Every time I try it seems like she will eventually find a way to get what she wants. I’ve really considered using deterrents such as the motion sensor spray that will spray air on the rabbit every time she gets in an area where she is not allowed to be.
I looked at the scatmat. It’s a mat that gives a tiny electric shock that does not harm the rabbit but it’s enough to be unpleasant the moment she steps on the mat. I have to put it under the desk. It won’t hurt her but I’m hoping these methods she will learn not to go the areas she knows she’s not allowed in.
