So I have a 7 month old male who is getting fixed tomorrow. I've had him since he was about 3 months old and recently he started peeing every where in my house. There where 2 events that catalyzed it but now I don't know how to stop him.
He got shut in a bathroom on accident by a roommate for 2 hours and peed on our bath mat. No biggie, we tossed the mat and cleaned the floor and got a new one. Now he goes in there and pees on the new one??? Every time we replace it and clean up he just pisses on the new mat. Which I dont get because the odor is not on it
He got shut in the pantry for an hour and peed in the back corner and now keeps going in there to try peeing. He also likes our back corner in our dining room and my under my desk.
We also had an incident in the car because he refused to use the litter box on a 4 hour car ride and opted to pee on himself instead.
I'm at my witts end with him, I have a really sensitive sense of smell and I cannot put up w ik th it for much longer. I don't want to give him up, I love him and I am attached. But he cant keep peeing all over my apartment.
