Hey r/pets! Our heat went out last night and it'll be around 35 degrees tonight. I have a big dog, an 11 month old kitten, and a 4 month old puppy. Will they be okay in weather this cold?
The puppy sleeps in a crate, so I was planning to layer a few comforters over it. For the big dog and kitten, I was planning on making a huge pile of blankets so they can have sort of a warm fort? What else should I be doing to keep them cozy tonight?
We may all just have a big cuddle puddle on the couch with a bunch of blankets, but the puppy and kitten can be kinda spazzy, so I dont know if theyll stay calm enough to cuddle all night.
