Hi all! I recently moved in with a few friends.
I have 2 cats (Both taby calico mixes around 5 years old).
My roommate has a cat (about 3 years old).
I tried to do the slow introduction of smelling eachother under the door and in crates.
But after 2 weeks of keeping my cats exclusively in my room trying to get the cats used to eachother my one cat has started peeing on the bed nonstop. Full on evacuating her poor bladder.
I know it's not because the box isnt being changed because she had just pooped in it and I had cleaned it shortly after.
Is this her being stressed being stuck in a room with my second cat? Stressed being stuck in a small room in general?
I'm unsure how to help her since my room mate is being a jerk about letting the cats just interact at this point or free roam.
If you guys believe letting them free in the house is the right choice my roommate will have. Thanks in advance!
