My old man, Gorki, is a corki Shepard mix. He's about 10 years old, and he's always had a bit of a problem with peeing in the house. But in the past six months or so, he's been seriously bad about it. He goes on 4 walks a day, at least one of which is a nice long walk. I can literally walk him, come inside, and he's peed on the floor within 5 minutes. I love him, but its destroying my floors.
We started using male wraps, and they worked really well for a while, but he's figured out if he rolls around he can pull them down so he's no longer covered and he just pees wherever he wants. I think he's made the connection that if he pees in the pad, it is uncomfortable until we notice and change it. He rarely ever pees in the pad, but if he goes without one he'll pee everywhere.
I honestly dont know what to do. I'm so frustrated with cleaning up pee all the time and feeling like nothing I do is working. Does anyone have any suggestions?
