my cat scratched my dog that led to a bacterial infection. i took my dog to the vet almost everyday the past week. i am not sure if their practices was professional. they didnt use anesthetics and reused the needle they used to drain pus out. they also pushed the skin to drain it out which i read could have spread the bacteria. for two days my dog puked and i told them but they didn't bother looking further about it. they told me to force feed my dog if he doesnt eat, to give him two types of antibiotic, vitamin b, something for the liver, and something for pain. i did all of those but my dog still didn't make it. i no longer have any appetite or energy, and i have been treating my cat, who i picked from the street when he was still a week old, badly. i have been pushing him away and refuse to look at him or touch him. i don't know what to feel about my cat anymore. my cat is over two years old and my dog, a maltese, was 5 years old.. please tell me how i should feel.. i dislike being this way to my cat but i also can't stand that i lost my dearest companion because of him.
