I have the prettiest most lively beta fish that I bought back in February, but he kept making the tank very dirty. We bought a brand new filter to help us with that, but it didn’t do much good. My sister went to Petco (I know...but she had to get her dog groomed...), and got me a $2 cleaner fish (Corydora Catfish) that the guy at the store recommended. Ever since she released the catfish in the tank about two months ago (Late August early September), my beta has been depressed. He sinks to the bottom of the tank and hardly moves. His colors are still gorgeous, but he’s not happy. Does anyone know how to fix this? I need the tank to be healthy, but I also need my beta healthy too.
