I have a one year old papillon and he is very active. I take him on three walks a day and to the dog park almost everyday. He even gets to play with some dogs at home. He’s very friendly, but he had a barking issue. He barks whenever someone knocks on the door or even gets close to the building.
Im not sure what to do and I don’t want to get a collar but it is getting to that point as I am now in grad school and working. Im hoping to find a very safe and humane way to teach him that people around the house aren’t coming to hurt us and he doesn’t need to do an alert bark.
