How can I help my cat being alone so much?

I have had my cat for 5 years, and she has been my only pet for that entire time. Recently I just moved into my own place away from my family, and now I'm working 50-60 hours a week. I feel horrible about not being with her.. and most of my time spent with her is just cuddling instead of playing because I'm too tired when I get home.

I live in a 300 sqft studio, so space for running around is not so great. I bought her a 7ft tall cat tower, and she has minimal toys because I haven't been able to get her interested in any of them aside from teasers and a laser. Getting a harness to take her on walks hasn't worked so well either because she's curious, but too scared of all the noises! Another cat is out of the question because she has been aggressive with other cats. The maintenance guy in the complex said he always sees her looking out the window, and I feel like that's the only good thing going on for her.

Really worried about her getting depressed/gaining weight from not having enough stimulation. She loves me so much and freaks out when I get home and it makes me feel even worse knowing she misses me :(. Is there any kind of kitty entertainment toy I can buy for her? Or anything to promote anything?? I've also been thinking about getting another pet like a ferret because she is a little more curious with animals that aren't cats.
