Bit of background
My family used to own 2 cats who were both older. Then 2 years ago we got a puppy. She is a staffie boxer cross, and she would play with the cats but was quite terrified of them. They tolerated her. Then in about 6 months time, both cats died within a couple months of eachother. They were old and it was unrelated but still awful.
Anyway, our dog is 2 years old now and we are thinking about getting a kitten. We are thinking of getting a new kitten. We think it will be ok, but she has no adult experience with cats, and she is very timid with a chance of being aggressive.
I'm worried that she may hurt the kitten or worse, so just curious if anyone has some advice or had a similar situation.
If it helps the cats where Burmese and planning on getting another.
