Like the title states, my cats can't stand the pillows and baskets used in the previous house. The loved these things and always slept in it, now if I put one of them in said basket, they give two sniffs and sprint away (even when fully sleepy). I managed to get get my cat to sleep in the old basket (cause he keeps stealing MY couch corner when I get up for a second) by wrapping it in my smelly shirts. Why is this? The old house did have some bad JuJu.
