I have an Australian Cattle Dog 3yo female who loves playing with my GFs 1yo Shitzu boy. She plays soft and only bites/nibbles lightly.
With my parents 75lb great peranese mix she is much rougher because she's big. Lately being more aggressive.
She humps her a lot, bites harder and lately has shown teeth. No growling. But if the parents dog wants to play, she will try to with my ACD, but my ACD may show teeth and look terrifying. The ACD will nip make and looks like she's playing but kind of looks scary.
Is this okay? Why does she do that?
I also think she may be protective of my GFs Shitzu because whenever my parents dog makes the Shitzu growl, my ACD will run up and bite the leg of her.
