Hello, I’m a cat owner. My boy recently had a bacterial infection resulting in self inflicted wounds from scratching himself so much. He was prescribed antibiotics and has had them without fail. However, today is his last pill and I tried feeding it to him but he spat it out and after numerous amounts trying again it finally melted and he didn’t swallow it. I was wondering would this affect his recovery ? I’m very worried that he won’t make a full recovery and the infection won’t go away.
