My dog has been munching extra hard around his butt/crotch/tail area and around his paws recently and was just wondering how I could get him to stop and also what the cause might be? Our water got illegally shut off a few months ago (situation is being handled, that's a different story) so I haven't been able to give him as many baths, which is what I think the problem is. I tried a waterless shampoo but I don't think it helped him at all, just made him smell good. I also tried putting coconut oil on him to relieve the itchiness but he just licked it all off.
