So here's a bit of a plot twist — my baby girl gave birth last week to two stillborns, but I managed to find her 4 orphaned kittens to nurse. She's basically adopted them, does everything from nursing to stimulating their pee and poop.
The problem is that she isn't making much milk at all. The babies' weights keep fluctuating and they weigh on average 130 g, which is nearly a 100 g below the weight they should be at their age.
Also, one of them died last night, so I'm quite worried if the others are getting enough nutrition. I have ordered Kitten Milk Replacer but it will not arrive until next week. What alternative food can I supplement their diet with? Is it possible to puree wet kitten food with lots of water and feed them using a dropper?
