I have a few months left on my lease and then will be moving into a new apartment. Is it cruel to get a cat now and then move in a few months? I know that cats are very territorial. Under normal circumstances I would just wait but with winter and covid I could definitely use a furry buddy ASAP. I don't want to put a cat in a situation where I'm causing undue stress, though.
